Our fire pit grills offer the same feeling of regular firepits with the warmth and their fire presentation. Decorative fire pit grills

The customization involves the size of the fire pit and thickness of material, size of the grill and selection and thickness of material, height of legs, size of handles, shape of the fire pit cover, and decoration motives.

Size and thickness of material

Typically we manufacture our fire pits from steel 3/16″ and most fire pits have diameter of 2 feet. However, since we customize this product, we can make them from 1/4″ or 5/16″ material. This will increase the utilization time of your firepit. We can also increase diameter of the fire pit to 2-1/2 feet or even 3 feet.

Please note that smaller firepits can only accommodate kindling’s of about 22″. And again, the size of the the firepit limits the size of the grill and for our standard fire pits is 22″ diameter. The diameter of 22″ grill could be insufficient for many clients. Larger fire pits have also larger grills and therefore you can put more food on the grill. If you plan to grill on the fire pit burgers, steaks, along with some vegetables than 2 feet diameter firepit could be too small.

Size of the grill, material and its thickness

In fact, the grill size is smaller by 2″ in comparison to firepit diameter. In this way, we create 1″ open rim of heat around the rim. Obviously, the larger firepits have larger grills and than you can increase the open rim surrounding the grill from 1″ to 2″. Larger open rims will create a more uniform heat on the grill.

Our grills can be made from steel or from stainless steel in thickness of rod from 3/16″ to 5/16″. The thickness of rods for the grill is an important factor in grill utilization time. Certainly, stainless steel grills last longer than steel grills and you can clean them better. Prior making your decision regarding thickness of your grill, you should make your decision regarding thickness of your firepit. And, then adjust your choice for thickness of the grill accordingly.

Shish kabob option is possible

For enthusiasts of shish kabob we can equip our fire pit grill with attachments allowing you to make you shish kabob. We will also provide stainless steel skewers in proper size. The grill will be slightly modified to allow you to used prior or after making your shish kabob.

The height of legs influence convenience and safety

Our fire pit grills generate lots of heat from their bottoms and we recommend to place them on concrete or stone patios for eliminating the fire hazard. In order to protect your patio stones from the heat of firepit we recommend legs of at least 6-8 inches. Putting the firepit directly on your patio could damage your patio and the firepit could leave the rust stain on it. Our legs minimize these undesired effects.

On the other side, if you plan to increase the height of legs to 2 feet due to the higher sitting of the people we can definitely accommodate your requirements. However, we do not recommend these relatively high legs for everybody. These high legs reduce the amount of heat reaching the people if they sit on traditional chairs.

Shape of the firepit cover

The shape of the fire pit cover determines its functionality and some decorative future. We have 2 basic shapes for our covers, cone and flat cylinder. The flat cylinder protects the inside of the fire pit against rain getting into it, We usually decorate it in the center with your choice of decoration of plasma cut form. The cone cylinder also protects your firepit from the rain, but also acts as a smoker. In order to smoke your cheese or meet on our firepit, we recommend to use smaller pieces. And additionally, please add some wood suitable for smoking. The food placed in a smoking cone comes out fully cooked and smoked to your taste.

Decorations on your fire pit grill

Decorations play an important role in overall use of your fire pit grill as well as its presentation. Large openings in the body of the firepit allow the heat to escape to the side. They make however, watching the fire place more pleasant, especially that we can immortalize there your most memorable events in your life. Therefore, we recommend to use decorative motives cut with thin lines as you can see on this picture.

We also do not recommend placing the decoration on top of the smoking cone cover since it makes it impractical and creates undesired look.
